When I hear mention of a rainbow, and after I get past thoughts of the rainbow that appears in Lucky Charms cereal commercials, along with Wizard of Oz, Judy Garland’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” (my personal favorite, however, is Israel IZ Kamakawiwo`ole’s version); I’m reminded of the rainbow in God’s promise to Noah.

I’ve known Dr. Tammy since 1985. That’s when we met at Michigan State University, our freshman year. We both stayed in North Case Hall on the 4th floor.
I often hear friends or family say how lucky they are to have great kids. Is it luck or are we blessed? Luck is success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through ones own actions. It definitely takes a village to raise children so it is a choice to gather who is in your tribe to help and guide you on the journey.
