Keep Living Consistent In What You Believe

A friend posted the above on social media this past weekend and maybe many of you; like me, have seen this posted once or twice in the past. However, when I read it THIS time around, I came really close to texting her the message "Oh it's not just me--You're feeling the same way, huh?"

Let's see if it resonates with you in the same way!

The beginning of the year is typically filled with the excitement surrounding starting lots of new things, i.e diets, work out plans, commitments to being more productive, etc.

For the most part, a ton of just doing, doing, doing...I detailed in a previous article the merits of new beginnings, but maybe I should have reminded myself how labor-intensive "beginnings" can be!?

My experience is that typically the physical part (if there is one) of any project can often be challenging. Obviously, depending on what the project or new beginning is, the challenge level varies. But what seems to ALWAYS be consistent is the mental exhaustion that comes with it. And it doesn't matter how organized, prepared, or committed you are; cerebral fatigue has a way of creeping in.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us to not become weary in well-doing. What wonderful comfort in the thought that God wants his people to know that He recognizes that we DO GET TIRED in our commitment to serving Him with all that we have!!!

But He assures us, as you read the scripture in its entirety that, in due season we shall reap.

Let's choose to faint not!!!
