My Heart Said YES❤️

You can blame it on Valentine’s Day, and possibly all of the Hallmark and Lifetime movies I watched over the weekend, but I began to think about all that happens when we allow our hearts to say “YES”.

And for the sake of clarity, I’m specifically referencing when we decide that we’ve met “the one” and we commit a good portion of our time, energy, thoughts, and often, resources to that chosen person.

For most of us that will be honest with ourselves (even if not with one another), we can probably remember falling hard, at least once, right? We may have met him at an event, been introduced through mutual acquaintances or in the most romantic of stories; been friends for longer than you can remember and that friendship blossomed into something more...into love...️❤️ And you wanted to (hopefully still do) spend all of your time with him, remember?

As much as all of what I’ve just written and you’ve just read speaks to how I feel about my husband, it speaks that much more to when my heart said YES to God.

And I mean my HEART, not my MOUTH...Because if the truth be told; I initially just said it...You know, made a confession that He was my Savior and I was committed to Him....But when I actually felt it in my heart, THAT was when the relationship truly began. So thank you Hallmark & Lifetime channels...Thank you Feb 14th...True to form, I was gently reminded about how when the heart says YES, in the natural (spouse) and in the spiritual (God) it allows room for the true treasures.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also
