Just a bunch of words...

As much as I try to stay away from topics that may be considered controversial to some, there’s just absolutely no way that I can ignore and not touch upon the sideshow that was aired last night.
While many chose to not watch at all (hmm maybe they were they on to something 🤔), I scheduled my day such that I’d be done with most things on my list and free from distraction. I had snacks on hand, a comfy blanket and had taken my fur baby, Nalah, out for her last “bit of business” for the day—I was set.

I’m not sure exactly what I was expecting, as I have a fairly solid idea of who both candidates are, and what and who they represent for the most part. I understand that some rely on the debate to help them decide which candidate receives their vote; that however was not my purpose.

About 30 minutes in, I was thinking about my grocery list (primarily snacks for a Netflix weekend), my comfy blanket was scrunched up and now serving as support to prop up my iPad and mine and my husband’s occasional outbursts of laughter startled Nalah which meant, yup—another trip outside was necessary😑... Geesh, I have to put my sweats back on.

Perhaps the debate wasn’t as much about expecting to get something new or influential from either candidate...but merely to confirm what my thoughts already were. Well, by the end of the 90-minute broadcast, I was grateful to have planned for my day to end by 8:45 pm because I was able to climb in bed a little early, grab the last of the ice cream, chips, and Raisinets (don’t judge me), and enjoy the best comedy show on tv last night.

Though the debate was more embarrassing than funny; it still proved to be quite entertaining. Not quite sure what’s in store for the next debate, but I hope advisors will spend time with both candidates and they prepare differently to be quite honest.

The tongue of the wise makes knowledge appealing, but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness.

And that's all I can really say about that 😳.
