Hidden in Plain Sight

Ok, so when I think in terms of being hidden or wanting to hide, my thoughts immediately go to darkness, a cornered, or secret place. For example, a childhood favorite; HIDE-AND-GO-SEEK. The whole point of which is to hide by taking advantage of your surrounding area and outsmarting the person who’s IT—-A game meant to be stealth! The game would not last very long if the hiders were in plain sight, therefore allowing the seeker (person who is IT) to have no need to look very far... All pretty basic right?!

So, I got to thinking recently how we, as God’s children, have the absolute BEST hiding place EVER from anything that’s out there designed to get us—or that’s contrary to His Will for our lives—And that’s in His PRESENCE!!!!

We don’t have to run in the opposite direction or find a spot that allows us to camouflage with our environment. If we just position ourselves to know and follow His word; we’ll be as safe as we were as children when we ran back to home base. As long as we keep ourselves HIDDEN IN HIS LIGHT... Guess what????... GAME OVER!!!!

You are my hiding place and my battle-covering. I put my hope in Your Word.
