Don’t Just DO IT!
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
Trust me, I get it—Some decisions are harder than others. It would be so much easier if the flip of a coin could decide it all!
The fact is though, the important ones, the game changers, and sometimes the deal-breakers; typically require much more than an arbitrary landing of a head or a tail. They require us to pull from everything we have in our arsenal and tool kit!
Be it past experience with the particular matter or possibly some resource (a person or information) directly connected to the situation; we most often find a way to evaluate, deliberate, and then decide. As much as the world regularly suggests that we approach life with a JUST DO IT mentality; let’s be responsible during this current climate of so much uncertainty and injustice.
Sadly, many are frightened, hurt, and disillusioned about what comes next. Before you DO IT, regardless of what your IT is, take the time to pray and meditate on God’s word. I’ve found that a funny thing happens when I do this...Somehow, someway, when I ask Him and then REALLY listen—-The wisdom that He responds with never fails!
