Do enough for others to hear!

What you do speaks so loudly, that I cannot hear what you say
— Ralph Waldo Emerson

...And for the less verbose..."Actions speak louder than words", gets the point across as well. This quote, and accompanying adage is surely one that most of us, I know, have reflected upon, kindly repeated, or used against a loved one when it worked in our favor!

When taken seriously; it requires each of us to align our behavior and actions with what we say. It's so easy to write about being good and just, to talk about being noble and righteous; but how many of us really represent such honorable character traits when it matters most? How many times have we've been reminded that others remember what we actually do, not what we say? Having worked with young people (pre-teens - young adults)  in some capacity over half my life, I am very aware of the impact and importance of follow-through!!! Don't say that you're going to BE THERE, BRING IT or DO IT, unless you're sure that you ARE, CAN or WILL!!!

Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.

We should be prudent in knowing that our words hold enormous weight--But when we support those words with the proper action, that weight is lightened with the peace of walking in God's love. Commit to walking in that peace!!
