Just a Call Away...
When we make a call on our phones; we’re hoping that someone will answer.
When we send a text or email; there’s more than likely an expectation that a response will follow.
Similarly when we’re in someone’s presence and call out their name, ideally, they will respond to the call.
While the above mentioned methods may vary, the goal is to get some sort of answer or response back from our intended. But the reality remains that no matter how many times we punch in phone numbers, press SEND, or call out a name; there’s no guarantee that we’ll get a response. Not to mention getting the response that we want!
But what wonderful assurance we have in God, that He’ll ALWAYS respond! And I am regularly amazed at how we have just one way to “call” him, but how He uses multiple ways to respond.
Be open to that phone call that might come at the most inconvenient time.
Be mindful of the random text or email from someone you weren’t expecting to hear from.
It might just be His way of responding, because He ALWAYS will!
